When the AARP gave support to the Bush Administration's prescription-drug plan in 2003 I never heard a word about them being anti-militaristic and pro-gay marriage (not that there’s anything wrong with that)? Now that they oppose the president's Social Security Privatization
plan, the mud is slung.

The character assassination that Karl Rove is so quick to put into movement is so transparent and specious that I’m amazed at the great number of folks out there in Jesusland who really swallow it.
