The Face America Will Be Showing the World

Let me give you 2 workplace scenarios:

a) a new boss comes onto the job determined to clean house and straighten out the “existing mess.” He/She doesn’t care who is offended, as he knows best.

b) a new boss, coworker comes onto the job and in a spirit of cooperation enlists everyone’s cooperation in making positive changes.

Who do you think will be more successful? Is the appointment of John Bolton as UN Ambassador meant to finish up the job of alienating the world?

In Bush’s announcement, he blames a handful of Democratic Senators for blocking his nomination. He failed to mention that the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, examined allegations against Bolton of bullying and other misconduct and withheld a favorable recommendation.

Just the title, Ambassador, begs the question: Is this who we want to represent us in the UN?
