If Saddam is found not guilty...
While Saddam may have justly earned the name the Butcher of Baghdad, unless he can be linked to his crimes he may be found not guilty. If that happens, will he get his country back?

We can only hope. Saddam IS the President after all.
It's interesting to note that the CIA and US WAR COLLEGE had cleared Iraq of any involvement in gassing the kurds. This was back in 1990/1991.
It was an Iranian missile that exploded. The gas had an entirely different chemical composition than anything America had sold to Iraq.

I sure hope so... at least Saddam Hussein could keep the power on.
And they haven’t managed to link him to any of the allegations as yet.
